Here are some websites that probably everyone has already heard of. I'm just not as web-savvy as you, okay?

Farbs.org is host to ROM CHECK FAIL, sort of an anti-game. In it, you take control of a zany assortment of past video game protagonists, from Pac-Man to that little, triangly spaceship-thingy from Asteroids. Farbs calls it a game, but it's more like an old arcade machine went haywire and started spitting up mish-mashes of characters and scenarios.
(Like in that Stephen King movie where that Green Goblin truck was killing people)

Bad ass.

One second you're Mario, hopping on cars from Spy Hunter, the next you're Pac-Man, gobbling up ghosts from Gauntlet. Recommended for anyone with a short attention span who ever went to an arcade.

Maximum Overdrive! The movie was called Maximum Overdrive. Shit that was good.

Looking for a place? HousingMaps is the bastard child of Google maps and Craigslist, though they are quick to point out that it is in no way affiliated with either. I've no clue how often this is updated or who's running it, but if you give a damn about location, this is a good place to surf for apartments.

Finally, The Smoking Gun TV, part of the TSG site most of us are familiar with (you know, the site with celebrity mugshots. (whoopty-fuckin'-doo!)), holds a bevy of old film clips. Everything from those News O' The World style movie reels to 1950's high school sex ed videos. Some classic Americana is here, along with an opportunity to watch a video somewhere other than Youtube.

There be a magical park in yon village wherest all manner of other-worldly creatures frolic. This mythical place is called Coliseum Square by inhabitants of the area, but that name doth not do it justice.

Molly calls the fountain "The Beach", but that won't do.

Let's call it Stay Away From There Square or Don't Go Square instead.

The square and particularly the fountain play host to vagrants, douchebags, and criminals at varying times of the day. I've heard of people getting mugged there at night when (surprise!) all of the lights go out around 10pm, I've seen a young couple scrape the corns off of their feet into the fountain and old hobos wash their faces in that water, and I've personally had to sit through conversations with people who honestly think I give a shit about their dog/life.

So here is my ode to Coliseum Square, a haiku:

When I was a kid, there was this guy on t.v. with a rocking Jewfro in a tacky suit saying he could make me rich if I got hit by a car.

Years later, he's still on t.v. doing the same shit. Morris Bart, ambulance-chaser par excellence, has been winning huge ca$h settlements for overweight morons for decades in the New Orleans area. If you've been injured by something that moves on wheels or floats on the water, this man will turn it upside down and shake it until coins fall out its pockets.

According to the internet, John Malkovich is an actor/director/producer who has been in over 70 movies. He's won awards, trained in the theatre (the "re" kind, not the "er" kind), and starred with some of American cinema's greatest thespians.
Why then is he trying so hard to destroy his career as a serious actor?

--because your kids like shitty movies?

What they won't admit to is taking a role for cash, bucks, dough, deniro, mula, or any other form of currency.
